Parent Partnerships
The importance of parents in the education process of students is recognized by the school.
A strong relationship and transparent one-to-one relationship is a priority at Khaleej National School. With this in mind, letters and newsletters are sent home on a frequent basis and there are four parents’ meetings throughout the school year.Coffee mornings for parents are also held reqularly where a member of staff is present to meet with parents and to discuss any issues of concern.
1. “The professional and dedicated educational team at Al Khaleej National School have given my children the intellectual stimulation and support as well as the emotional understanding and nurturing that have eased the transition into a new country, new culture and new school. The boys have been given a safe place in which to explore and grow intellectually and personally – making school a happy place to be”.
2. “The teachers I have met so far are professionals in their fields and friendly. I was extremely happy to see that the school has retained some excellent teachers whom I first met 10 years ago. This is indeed a great achievement of which the school should be extremely proud.”
3. “It is impressive to know that good activities are taking place in the school, for example, panel discussion is an important activity and contributes to an excellent student personality.”
4. ”The school enjoys a good mix of students from different backgrounds – this cannot be planned for but I believe it adds a lot of value as it reflects the actual mix of the population of Dubai.”
5. I admire the overall ‘happy environment’ of the school. You can feel this in the attitude of the students, teachers, administration staff and management.”
6. “Having brought my children to AKNS has been a very nice experience for my whole family. My two daughters feel much happier and they look forward to going to school each day. I feel very comfortable with the staff and the teachers.”
7. “AKNS has a friendly atmosphere in which we all feel we are part of a big family. I think it has a positive influence on all of us. We all receive a very warm welcome at the school and, from the beginning, feel like we belong here. I thank the children and the staff for having opened their arms to us. As a parent, I no longer have to worry about how my children will feel since they feel right at home.”
